PlayHQ is where sport and communities unite. The PlayHQ logo has sporting and athletic connotations, whilst embodying the friendliness and welcoming environment that community sport provides.
The HQ in the PlayHQ logo sits within a modern shield shape inspired by a history of sporting organisation logos. The turquoise and purple colour palette represents a balance of gender, adhering to PlayHQ’s core value of being welcoming of everyone.
No other elements, such as typography, may be placed on top of the PlayHQ logo. Do not use the logo as a typographical substitute or word component.
Clearspace
When using our logo, it is imperative that it is given adequate space from other elements. This is to ensure balance and harmony within design. We have made two versions of the logo that can be interchanged based on the logo padding requirements as it grows or shrinks in size. It is also important to note that the size of the padding is used to create margins within the composition.

Scalability
The PlayHQ logo was designed and tested to work at various sizes in both digital and print media. The minimum logo size for adequate legibility is 80px, never go smaller than this. Establishing a minimum size helps to ensure that the logo’s legibility is never compromised.
Misuses
It is important that the appearance of the PlayHQ logo remains consistent. It should not be reinterpreted, modified or embellished. No attempt should be made to alter the logo in any way. Below are some mistakes to avoid.

Placement
Regardless of communication size or composition, the logo should always be placed in one of the locations outlined below. This keeps logo placement simple and consistent, while offering enough flexibility to accommodate a variety of layouts. Where possible, the PlayHQ logo should be applied in the bottom right of compositions.
